- Staffin Museum, Staffin (Easter – October)
Small but excellent local museum, best known for its collection of Dinosaur remains found on the Trotternish Peninsula. Archaelogical and social history collections. Built and managed by Dugald Ross - a Gaelic speaker from Staffin with a unique knowledge of his community’s heritage. The museum holds Scotland’s most important collection of Scottish dinosaur remains.

- Skye’s Museum of Island Life, Kilmuir (Easter – October)
Reconstructed village of thatched cottages with an immense collection of artefacts relating to all aspects of the crofting lifestyle of the Gael. Hosted by a family of Gaelic speakers, this attraction is highly recommended. Tel. 01470 552206
